Writing

Writing has been a strong part of my professional practice.
In my last position I was responsible for external communication efforts including content for the website, case studies for the portfolio, newsletters, and blogposts. I handled the majority of copywriting for client deliverables such as research reports, messaging guidelines, presentations, and brand books. In addition, I also wrote for administrative purposes including proposals, project plans, and grant reports.
I am happy to share samples of these more sensitive documents upon request.

Together as a species we are grappling with how to collectively manage issues as gigantic as climate change, human migration, global security, productive economies, and healthy societies.

Bizarro Progressive

All the high praise for the gig economy makes me think of Seinfeld. Doesn’t life always eventually lead back to Seinfeld? I can’t help but hear Jerry’s shrill voice in my head every time a friend tells me how empowering it is to freelance or when reading yet another millennial authored article exalting the future of work as gigging.  Are we living in a real-life bizarro episode — the Bizarro Progressive?!

A resource designed to improve the experience of new hires. It includes studio policies and an overview of current and important past projects as well as clever pro tips and trade secrets for success from current and former staff. This booklet was sent out the Friday before start dates to give new people a sense of the company culture and bring them up to speed on projects so they could walk in on day one ready to jump into team meetings and take assignments.
